France has many different types of deviant behavior that can get you anywhere from dirty looks on the street, to jail time, but it is all in their cultural norms. On the small scale of deviant things in France, you could try eating food while walking on the street, unlike in the U.S. where most are snacking or eating something while walking on the street. While this won't get it thrown in jail for the night, being that it is one of Frances more unique social norms you might get a dirty look from everyone you walk past in France. During the summer in France, you might find yourself at a pool or beach, one thing you will notice is all the men wearing tight swimming briefs or speedos, while some do it just because they are more comfy and easier to swim in, other wear them for a cultural reason. The French culture is more comfortable with nudity as well as they embrace the human body. While in the U.S. most men in public pools or beaches will be wearing swimming trucks that almost go to their knees and are baggy. If a man was to wear a speedo in the U.S. at a public beach or pool, he is either a professional swimmer or he will get weird or funny looks from everyone around him. With France having a very strong pro-child culture another thing that is deviant and it is mostly difficult to do in France is writing your children out of your will. While in the U.S. it is allowed and normal to take children out of your will unless they are under 18, then you cannot legally take your child out of your will. All of these deviants show a little more in depth of the French culture and some of their cares and beliefs.
